Susan Levi
CEO
- Susan received her PsyD in Organizational Management and Consulting from Phillips Graduate University and received a M.A. and B.A in Psychology from Pepperdine University and the University of California, Irvine, respectively.
- Susan holds her SPHR and PHR certifications from HR Certification Institute.
- Susan has experience providing HR solutions to both for-profit and non-profit employers in a wide range of industries. Susan leverages this experience and understanding to develop solutions that are not only compliant, but also align with industry best business practices, and help support employees with their HR needs.
- When Susan is not working, she enjoys attending tap class, golfing, and spending time with her family and pomeranian, Sage.
Erika Andrews
Senior HR Consultant
- Erika brings her experience in a vast array of HR related functions, including handbook and policy development, wage & hour audits, harassment investigations, and job description creation.
- Erika holds a B.A. from the University of California, Irvine and a M.A. from Pepperdine University.
- Erika enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, supporting them in their dance and soccer activities. Erika also has a pet rabbit named Neville.
Ali Cherney
Chief of Staff & HR Consultant

Ali Cherney is the Chief of Staff and an HR Consultant at Jinji HR, where she provides both strategic oversight of the internal team and expert guidance to clients. With over a decade of leadership and management experience, Ali brings a deep understanding of people operations, specializing in employee relations, strategic planning, and employment compliance.

She partners with leadership teams to identify and close management gaps that drive employee satisfaction and improve retention. Known for her direct, honest, and approachable style, Ali creates an environment of trust and ease for both employers and their teams. She believes that the best way to protect a business is by also protecting its people—supporting employers in adopting HR best practices that enhance the daily experience of every employee.

Ali holds a specialty certificate in California Labor Law and a People Management Qualification from SHRM. Before her career in Human Resources, she spent a decade in Apparel Design and Production Management, gaining extensive experience in creative leadership and operational oversight. Ali also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, blending her artistic background with her expertise in people management to bring a unique perspective to HR.

Outside of work, Ali enjoys traveling to beach destinations, browsing specialty grocery stores, and harvesting herbs from her garden. She loves dim sum, dancing, and spending relaxed time with family and friends.
Candy Yearsley
HR Consultant
- Candy Yearsley is a PHR-certified HR consultant who supports clients through every stage of the employee life cycle. She advises on leave of absence policies, Workers’ Compensation claims, and benefits administration, helping employers manage risk by ensuring compliance with California and federal employment requirements. Candy keeps clients informed and up to date on evolving regulations and required documentation, additionally she’s passionate about educating employees on benefits to which they are entitled and demystifying workplace policies.
- Candy holds two separate degrees in Accounting and Human Resources bringing a great combination of skills for HR and Payroll services.
- Outside of work, she’s a plant enthusiast and hands-on DIYer who enjoys growing fruit in her backyard and tackling home projects with power tools. She loves spending time at the beach and with her family. Her two dogs serve as loyal office companions – mostly offering moral support and the occasional paper shredding.
Jazelle Bilson
HRIS & Payroll Specialist

Jazelle provides a wide range of HR support to our clients, including recruiting, employee onboarding, payroll/HRIS support, and document development. Leveraging extensive experience in HR, quality assurance, and administrative operations Jazelle supports organizational performance and efficiency across variety of industries, including non-profit organizations, studio/prop houses, and the hospitality industry.

On the weekends, Jazelle enjoys going camping at the beach or desert with her husband and two daughters. She is also a fur mom to two dogs and a cat.
Jenna Wilkin
HR Consultant

Jenna brings confidence, clarity, and structure to the parts of HR that impact people and operations the most from recruiting and policy development to conflict resolution and progressive discipline. A strategic and grounded partner, she helps organizations navigate tough situations with assurance always centering people, process, and practicality.

Jenna’s experience spans a range of industries including hospitality, healthcare, entertainment, nonprofits and includes managing teams, leading recruiting efforts, advancing DEI and accessibility initiatives, and supporting safety management. Her work is rooted in helping people feel heard and capable while equipping employers to lead thoughtfully, navigate risk, and make people centered decisions that move their organization forward.

Janey Chu
HR Consultant
- Janey Chu is a graduate of University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Law & Society and has over 20+ years of experience in human resources.
- Janey has worked and led HR teams in organizations big and small, helping to restructure, supporting mergers and acquisitions, as well as building and scaling their teams in startup companies.
- Janey has experience in a wide range of industries, including restaurants, semiconductors, consumer electronics, as well as entertainment.
- You will find Janey on the weekends at soccer fields cheering for her daughter at oen of the 3 soccer teams she is on.
Elizabeth Nuno
HR Consultant
- Elizabeth offers comprehensive HR services to our clients, including overseeing employee relations, HR compliance, harassment prevention training, and handbook/policy development. She has experience working with a diverse range of clients and is fluent in Spanish.
- Elizabeth obtained her Bachelors of Science from California State University, Long Beach and completed her Certification in Human Resource Management at California State University, Dominguez Hills.
- Elizabeth holds her SHRM-CP certification (Certified Professional from the SHRM organization).
- Elizabeth loves traveling and playing video games.
Monica Peña
HR Consultant
- Monica holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Southern New Hampshire University and is currently pursuing her MBA at Cal State, Long Beach.
- With over 10 years of experience in Human Resources, Monica has done it all – from compensation analysis, recruitment, payroll processing and OSHA/ERISA reporting to new hire onboarding, employee relations, and compliance training. She has led trainings on harassment prevention, DEI, Company values and policy rollouts. Monica has successfully supported companies through transitions between HRIS platforms.
- Her industry experience spans from cybersecurity, logistics, manufacturing, construction, non-profit, and healthcare. As a bilingual HR professional, she provides support and training in both English and Spanish.
- Monica enjoys learning new skills, doing DIY home projects, and cooking. She has a passion for travelling, especially for the opportunity to experience new cultures.
Ellen Aschenbrener
HRIS & Payroll Specialist
- As a HRIS & Payroll Administrator at Jinji, Ellen Aschenbrener partners closely with clients to ensure they receive exceptional support and value from our HR and payroll solutions. Drawing on over five years of industry experience, she brings deep knowledge in onboarding, recruiting, payroll administration, compensation management, and employee relations. Ellen is passionate about helping clients streamline operations, stay compliant, and build stronger teams.
- With a background in training, conflict resolution, and employee management, Ellen is adept at guiding clients through complex challenges and ensuring seamless implementation and ongoing success.
- Ellen holds a bachelor’s degree in education with an emphasis in communications.
- Outside of work, Ellen enjoys spending time with her family and dogs. She is an avid reader and enjoys the outdoors.
Gaby Linares
HR Generalist

Gaby brings well-rounded expertise across the entire employee life cycle, from pre-hiring requirements and onboarding to administrative processes and leadership support. Having developed a strong foundation working with organizations across diverse industries, Gaby adapts seamlessly to different workplace needs and dynamics.

She is highly experienced in supporting specialized environments, with a particular focus on ensuring compliance with Department of Health Care Services requirements. In addition, Gaby provides day-to-day support, offering both reliability and flexibility.

As a native Spanish speaker with a Master’s degree in Spanish from California State University of Northridge, she is pleased to serve clients in both Spanish and English, helping bridge communication and cultural connections.

Outside of work, Gaby enjoys treasure hunting at thrift shops, exploring new trails with her husky, sampling coffee blends in search of the perfect cup, and staying active through a variety of sports.
Stefanie Vallejo
Accounting/Finance
- Stefanie has extensive experience in accounts receivable management, ensuring efficient financial operations and contributing to the overall financial health of the organizations she works with.
- Stefanie’s expertise ensures that financial processes are streamlined and effective.
- Outside of her professional life, Stefanie is a dedicated mother and animal lover, enjoying quality time with her daughter and her beloved cat and dog. She also finds joy in Disneyland visits.
Cami Mack
Executive Assistant
- Cami supports Jinji HR with necessities to allow the organization to run seamlessly.
- Prior to joining the Jinji HR team, Cami obtained her bachelor’s in business at Texas A&M and worked in Marketing and Sales.
- Outside of work, Cami enjoys spending time with her animals and trying new restaurants.
Cecille Magtarayo
HR Coordinator
- Cecille oversees new employee onboarding, personnel file system management, and general HR administrative support to our clients.
- Cecille holds a BA degree in English and has a breadth of experience supporting companies in various industries throughout the U.S. and internationally with their HR and administrative proficiency.
- Outside of Jinji HR, Cecille enjoys travelling and spending time in nature.
Halley Z
Recruiter
- Halley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management, HR, and recruiting, dedicated to helping businesses build and sustain high-performing teams.
- With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Halley takes a strategic, people-first approach to talent acquisition and organizational development, ensuring businesses thrive through strong leadership and effective team dynamics.
- Outside of Jinji HR, Halley enjoys traveling, cooking, and exploring the outdoors, always seeking new experiences and inspiration.
Caleb Zúñiga
HR Consultant: Non-Profit Focus
- With over 10 years of experience in nonprofit leadership roles including Director of Human Resources and Program Director, Caleb brings deep experience in supporting nonprofits across every stage of the employee lifecycle.
- Caleb is highly skilled in employee relations, strategic planning, people management, employee engagement, and advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and access initiatives.
- Caleb holds a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential through the Society for Human Resource Management.
- Prior to his career in human resources, Caleb studied Art History, earning a B.A. from Pomona College and an M.A. from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
- Outside of work, Caleb enjoys trail running, tennis, cooking, and spending time with his loved ones and cat, Cora.
Martha Gaburungyi
HR Consultant
- Martha Gaburungyi is SPHR®‑certified and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) along with a bachelor’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology.
- With more than 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, she partners with C‑suite executives to design and execute human capital strategies that drive performance, ensure multi‑state and international compliance, and support sustainable growth. Martha specializes in managing the full HR lifecycle and is known for guiding organizations through complex change, including post‑merger integrations that align policies, benefits, and culture.
- Her experience spans financial services, healthcare, and specialized education environments, complemented by international HR expertise in Uganda and Nigeria, which brings a global perspective to workforce strategy and people operations. Valued for her strategic insight and practical approach, Martha helps organizations build high‑performing, transparent, and resilient workplaces.
- Outside of her professional work, Martha values spending quality time with her family. She is an avid tennis fan who closely follows the sport year‑round, with a particular passion for the Grand Slam tournaments, and enjoys staying active by training for and running half marathons.

Juan Arias

- Juan serves as an HR Generalist at Jinji HR, where he partners with organizations across multiple states to strengthen their people operations and support compliance across diverse work environments. With over six years of experience in Human Resources, he brings hands-on expertise in guiding clients through the full employee lifecycle while fostering positive and effective workplace cultures.
- Juan is highly skilled in employee relations, talent management, HR operations, compliance, and process optimization. Juan works closely with leadership teams to implement HR best practices, align people strategies with organizational goals, and create inclusive, engaging environments where employees can thrive.
- As a bilingual HR professional fluent in English, Spanish, and German, Juan supports accessible and inclusive workplaces for diverse teams. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy and German Language and is currently pursuing additional studies in Psychology.
- Outside of work, Juan enjoys traveling, learning new languages, expanding his knowledge, and spending quality time with his dog, Coffee.
